Massive Massive X$199.00Buy X-Squared For Massive X

Post

TBH, i don't need it at all, so it would be a luxury item for me in the first place, but if I really wanted it I would have to think hard about catching reaktor at the right time for 99$ and building it myself. i bet it will sound amazing and be great fun on a laptop tho, so i was keeping an eye on it. 250$ is a little more then i will am willing to go. make great music and fun!

Why did they push it back to the end of June?
I think if anyone is still on the fence to update/upgrade to Komplete 12, Massive X would serve like the final enticing thing to go for it before the sale ends shortly after.
If i buy now the upgrade from k11u to k12u will i get also massive x for free?
Indeed. Time to open the wallet and throw the money at NI or wherever you buy it from. :)

Thx :tu:
So the upgrade is a no brainer only for this for me. I am not so excited frlm the additions from k11u to k12u otherwise. K12ce seems to be somehow a waste only more soundpacks.

You also get the full Symphony series with Ultimate Collectors Edition....but i would also pass here.
I think about to upgrade maybe from Komplete 11 to Komplete 12 Ultimate....not sure yet. I already own some Ultimate products so i could sell them (which is great and easy with N.I.).
For sure i will upgrade to Komplete 12 since i think i get good value for just €95.
At least i get Massive X, Session Strings 2 (but curious how much better the pro version is), Kontakt 6, some other sample libraries and some FX i do not have yet on top. Beside Logic Pro X i still find in general the Komplete package best bang for buck.
(Funny, update from Komplete 11 to 12 and then to Komplete 12 Ultimate is €5 less than the direct way to Komplete 12 Ultimate).

I think i will stay at komplete11, because I view this in a different aspect.
There are other companies, who continuously develope better synths, one ofter another - imho they rather deserve some 'investment'.
Ok, Ni will release this new synth, but after that, what about quality updates and bugfixes? NI is not the company who delivers the cutting edge synths anymore.
This all may seem pessimitic, but i would gladly see the opposite happening.

Form is cutting edge. Super 8 is just as great in getting the vintage analog sound as Repro-5, just a different flavor of it.

IMHO Form uses too much cpu... I tried to like it, but at the end I turned to other wave mangler devices. If NI created any interesting and unique stuff in the last svereal years, than that's Rounds. This is also cpu hungry, but no other synth has that concept.
And one more thought about Reaktor instruments - many of us don't need this large "framework" with its "cpu hungry monsters", I would be happier if NI could create 'not reaktor' synths again.

If it’s too heavy, your system‘s too light...

Maybe you're right,
maybe 32 GB of Ram, and a 4core intel cpu is light...

summer of sound is coming, until the end of june.

so people who want to upgrade to K12 with massive X will have only 3 days to test massive X to check if it is worst the update\upgrade.. it's short..
YAY! This is what I bought komplete select for and waited! Kontakt was the primary reason I wanted to upgrade, but I'm not going to kick fm8, reaktor and massive x to the curb....

Hard core?

It seems I derailed the topic, sorry.
And what about massive x features : is it known whether users can import samples or wavetables, or edit wavetables?
