Good question.

I tried my P6 with Cubase 10 yesterday and it locked up Cubase.

Did they put nektarine in our accounts for Studio One users only or for all other DAWs ?

I have Studio One pro 4.5 and it works fine in that DAW.

Nektarine instaniates ok in Studio One 4 (though it didn’t import presets when I tried), but was not working with my P6. So I called Nektar and was told that Nektarine is not yet working with the P6.

So is anyone successfully using Nektarine in Studio One 4 with a P6?

Its working OK on my P6.

Nektarine is a VST librarian that should be in your VST folder. Select it and go.

I have tried it in Cubase - Studio One - Reaper - Cakewal Sonar - Bitwig, and it works fine.

The only annoyance is that patch selection does nothing when pressing "patch" on the P6.

Nektarine will interfere with our DAW integration for Cubase. If you want to try out Nektarine, I recommend disabling or uninstalling the Cubase integration first. It will appear to work, but for example, if you create an instance of Nektarine while Mixer Mode is active, you will end up controlling Nektarine and the Mixer parameters at the same time.

I can't say when an update for the Cubase integration will be released.

If the Studio One DAW integration is working but you cannot control Nektarine, you likely need to update Panorama's firmware. Please contact Nektar support via the 'Contact Support' link on this page: http://support.nektartech.com/Support

Thanks Justin, but I did install the latest firmware that came with the download Panorama_P6_StudioOne4_Integration_OSX_10.11_or_higher_2019-05.zip -- Panorama_P6_FWx11_V031402.bin. I just now checked and its still that version of the firmware in that download. (I'm on Mac OS X 10.12.6)

[1] Nektarine does not import the .nek presets - the Loading Presets window appears and the progress bar goes to the end but the presets don't appear in Nektarine.

[2] When Nektarine is instantiated, pressing the Instrument button on my P1 when the track it is on is selected does nothing and the P6 display doesn't change (though the name "Nektarine" does appear in the P6 display right-hand side in Mixer mode)

Please create a support case via the Nektar website. I believe I understand what is causing the second problem but it will be easier to troubleshoot via e-mail.
Regarding the first problem, this is likely related to folder permissions. I will provide instructions for fixing this when I respond to your support case.

Thanks,
- Justin

Thanks very much, Justin! I had a suspicion and was hoping it might just be a readily resolvable permissions-related issue. I just now have created a support case at the Nektar website. Looking forward to getting the fix for this and being able to use my wonderful P6 with Nektarine.
