Obviously this is a vauge topic, but:

Whatever I play warming up.

Jeff Beck - Cause We've Ended As Lovers (and more)

SRV - Little Wing (especially live)/ Riviera Paradise live / Lenny live, etc

Soundgarden (Kim Thayil) - Tighter & Tighter

Randy Rhoads - Mr. Crowley

Jimmy Page - Since I've Been Loving You (any live)

David Gilmour - the entire Live @ the Electric Factory 1970, PA. Comfortably Numb (even though it was hacked together), especially on his tour in 1984, Echos Live @ Pompeii

Peter Frampton - Do you Feel Like We Do? (Live, the one with his damn face all glowing on the cover)

Steve Howe - Sound Chaser (certain parts)

Jimi Hendrix - Axis (BAL), Machine Gun

Tool (Adam Jones) - 3rd Eye (although its the rest of the band that helps make it so climactic)

Phish (Trey Anablahblah) - You Enjoy Myself

Niel Young - Cortez the Killer (Live Rust)

Disco Biscuits - Shem Ra Boo? (some live show I saw)

That's all I can think of for now.

Mark Knopfler (still with Dire Straits): Sultans of Swing, in their 1st album.

Never heard him doing it again, even live (CD or concert). In fact, he played it on concert the same way he did in the live CD: exactly, note by note :? Too difficult to play live the early version?
Eventually something intelligent will appear written here. Watch this space.

Steve Howe -- "Awaken" and "To Be Over"

Robert Fripp -- "Asbury Park"

...and a surprise choice:

Greg Lake -- the Live version of "Karn Evil 9, 1st Impression", the solo following the words "You've got to see the show, it's rock and roll..." (where his solo eventually gets faded to near zero-volume, covered over by Emerson's organ solo). :)
