I don't know really, I'm responding on page 5 to opening post from page 1, don't know what is happening in between or if there's some debate going on or what triggered someone and etc.

In the end of the day, we all have different workflows, you try different things and see if they work for you or not, we tried working in Bitwig for our writing sessions and it worked for us, it might not work for someone else obviously.

Well, I watched all the tutorial videos Ableton has on their website while Push was getting delivered and that was it.

I never said it's a groundbreaking composition or anything. point was mostly how spontaneous it sounds - it'd never be that way if I "moused in" all the automations, etc.

I meant the three tracks remark in a good way, a lot going on there for just three tracks.

In Bitwig 8 track I can control a lot of parameters from my Nektar Panorama P6 as it has full Bitwig integration.

thanks again for all the thoughtful replies.

I've come to the conclusion that the benefits of a clip based approach for me are probably limited so I'm going to de-prioritize it on the list of things I want to work with. I may come back to it later.
