In "note editing" is there a way to delete a note by just using the mouse? The manual says to "triple" right click but that is not working for me.

Not with mouse.. the manual may need updating. The software goes through changes quite often and it's hard to keep the documentation current. There is only one person working on this project, Atilla.

At the moment you can delete the selected notes from the note inspector:

If you keep it open in a corner it is just one click.
