Can Cubase Beat Creator import MIDI files?

The Cubase MIDI plug in Beat Creator is a fast way to get beats going. A great feature is its ability to spit out an actual MIDI file of the beats you create with it. But does it go the other way? Can I take a MIDI file and import it to Beat Creator for further editing?
