Wow, I didn´t see this coming!
https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/mododrum/
And after upgrading to Superior Drummer 3, I didnt´thought that I will ever need another drum plugin.
But this one is a complete different approach and looks amazing.
Intro price €299
Full price €399

Yeah, its fully customizable it seems, on a physically modelled base like Modo Bass
Selectable hitting position
Swap stick and head types
Infinite velocity layers for more human feel
Infinite round-robins for unmatched realism
crazy..
Combine Modo Drum with the midi libraries and capabilities of SD3 opens up a whole new world

I listened through all the solo demos, I'm not sure it sounds all that great.

Hmmm, 'cutting edge cymal sample engine'.
TBH, I have plenty of decent drum libraries, and the fairly fast nature of drum transients means that a limited pool of samples is sufficient. Its cymbals where I really want the advantages of physical modelling; non-repeating, tweakability, etc

An idiot on Set Theory:
"In some cases there is an object called red that contains everything that is red. In much the same way a pot is a plate."

I know, right? And yet there seems to be no focus on this anywhere on the product page, videos, or audio demos.whyterabbyt wrote: Thu Jun 20, 2019 9:48 am Hmmm, 'cutting edge cymal sample engine'.

ROFLOLMAO:
A) Now I know why the drum kits in st4 are utterly useless
B)How about making sure st4 is stable (even in version 4.04 it's still buggy) before releasing a new vst?
C)400 euro full price for this...? Nice joke XD
