Has anyone here updated these Element versions and found the new/updated features to be a significant improvement?
Ozone Elements now has the Master Assistant and an improved Maximizer. I love the Master Assistant, I use it as a starting point and then just push the EQ gains and Maximizer harder. It's especially good if you post music to YouTube or SoundCloud because you can tell it to choose settings for streaming services, which can be quite different from settings for commercial releases.

RX Elements now has the Repair Assistant. I tried it and it works well, although I'd really like to see it be integrated into the Batch Processor.

Neutron now has the Mix Assistant, the Sculptor, and better performance, plus, in your case, whatever was introduced in V2.
I didn't realize elements had a specific version, so you´re saying I can upgrade my RX from version 6 to 7? I havn't seen any upgrade offers for that, do I have to buy the new full version?

Are there any particular instruments you'd like to see?
I think this is the first time that UVI OB Legacy is discounted at 50% ...

EDIT: You are faster than my response :-)

I'm actually not sure how that works. The $49 Music Essentials Bundle is cheaper and gives you much more than getting an upgrade.

You have an excuse. You didn't know better.
martinjuenke knew better and was just being a dipshit.
I thought it was funny, generally like martinjuenke's contribution including this one - it immortalized that insane post from freimann. Thanks martinjuenke!

But why complain about Xosphere 2 when it is the cheapest it'll likely be (and actually a decent asking price at its current discount). Put up with the shitty download and enjoy the product rather than the other way around..

It sounds great in the video. It's the best selling product of the Waves half price sale. Keep in mind that the sale ends tomorrow and it probably won't be this price again until next year.
Anyone else bought this? How's the load time on samples? Btw its $22.50 at Best Service and I think thats the cheapest.

@mixtur.se I haven't seen any offers to update/upgrade Elements versions other than moving up to Standard/Advanced. So, yeah, you have to buy new full versions. If you have a few older versions, like me, this bundle is a cheaper way to get up-to-date.

@Uncle E Thanks for the info, Eric, but it seems the Elements versions don't have all those features (e.g., no Mix Assistant or Sculptor in Neutron Elements).

I'm going to pass on this bundle since I have most of it, but I think it's a great deal for those who don't. I'm surprised there's been so little discussion about it.

It is a very good deal but maybe because iZotope do so many offers that we become blasé to a degree?
E.g. a lot of the Elements stuff has been offered for $10 via Reverb etc and there are kosher eBay sellers regularly selling some Elements for a similar price. So unless you want the non Elements stuff or all of the Elements it might not be such good value for some.
I think iZotope have harmed their brand in terms of pricing with all the deals they do; for those in the know anyway.
The Music Production Suite can easily be had for $350 which makes a mockery of the individual product pricing.
They probably aren't as bad as Waves but getting there albeit that they have a different strategy.

As a midi guitar player I was hoping that this could work like Trilian of Kontakt bass instruments when used with Gtak. That is , the player has the ability to set it up so that each guitar string plays a midi channel. Great bass results can be had this way, far more realistic than keyboard players can do. Just reading over the manual, looks like this cant be done. May try the demo anyway; it certainly sounds good

Sorry, you're right about Sculptor. The Neutron Comparison Chart states that Mix Assistant is included:

The fact that RX Elements was selling for $9.99 one day before this launched certainly didn't help.

Thank you for asking. It will end June 30.
Thanks! I didn't want to ask again, and so bought it just in case. At that price level it's worth it even if it just serves as a soundbank. Fortunately, it looks to be up to much more. Cheers :tu:

Does anyone know how long the sale on Xosphere 2 will last? Thanks in advance!

+1, and upgrades cost just as much as buying a new product, for very small improvements

They don't say that in their site.
But let me contribute the discurse with some user-opinions.
Although I'm in generally most critical towards "cinematic" libraries/romplers, I purchased this one, because of I happened to have rewards for the gif certificate, and I may need sometimes these kind of sounds.
I must say that that my preconceptions have proved, so far, to be correct.

Most of the huge 15 GB presets are overproduced, too "atmospheric" stuff to my taste. There are obviously nice samples, but to get those, you have to drill down to a simple core preset, dress down all effects, and rebuilt the sound.
But this is me. I appreciate more a very well sampled, original core sound, than huge, overproduced, saturared fullfrequency pad.
The Xosphere 2 presets resembles too much each other, to my taste.

In addition, some spesific first impression remarks:

1. The default volume is set way too loud in every preset. The first thing you have to do, is to lower the Kontakt or your DAW fader. The
2. The preset filter doesn't work as it should: e. g. if I set the multi preset filter, and go to the main page, and try to browse the filtered set of presets using the arrows (forward/backward), the browser looses the filter.
Can the browser/filter be that stupid, or have I missed something?
3. Regarding the huge 15 GB library, the lack of percussive sounds is disturbing. Most of the preset "percussive" are just the same cinematic jam.
OK. Those who know me, are used to my critical approach.
To be fair, I'm first to admit, that the above are the first 1 day impressions, and I may have (most likely have) missed something, and/or will change my opinion in some areas.
And there are a lot of good in this product, too, obviously.
The UI is well structured. The samples load relatively quick, in ny power desktop, anyway. The product is rather versatile, and there are a lot of effect presets. The effects may not be very fancy, if you are used to the latests effect-offering of some top developers.
You can't import your own samples, which may be the worst functional defect.

If you need set of rich, atmospheric sounds to your portfolio, this product may be a good choise, with the present price.
On the other hand Im critical towards these libraries, and recommend to look "under the hood", to the core samples undressed of effects, modulation, or morphing. I enjoy e. g. the old Alchemy sound libraries, which I own almost all, and most the EW Silk instrument-category libraries, where the sounds "mean" something. Then you can color/dress the original sound, but first it has to be most beautiful "naked".
