Also, everyone who bought a computer in the last 10 years should have a AVX capable CPU, thus shouldn't have a problem.

I only bought it in late 2016 and 2017 due to that perception. I heard a demo from a couple of those people.aMUSEd wrote: Wed Jun 26, 2019 6:57 amExactly, it has really suffered by this pigeonholing as an 'aggressive' dubstep synth - it can do many types of sounds but what attracted me to it at first were the soundbanks by people like biomechanoid and later LIV that showed what a great pad/soundscape synth it was.LeVzi wrote: Wed Jun 26, 2019 5:52 am I have to say Massive really is a powerhouse and has a lush sound to it
My most memorable use of it was really warm and rather lush, a patch by Antonio Blanca I think is the name.

If you use only patches instead of crafting your own patch, well you are limited then by the sound that the designer gave. Wich gives is kind sad, because of that user gets a different perspective, feeling of how the synth sound. And whats even sader, its not designers fault, and its not the user fault, its just a user ignorance. Patch does not define the synth. I still love Massive, its quite all rounder to tell you the truth, its a shame NI does not update its UI to be resizable.

on the last day before X, I present an amazing synth workshop on Massive with Disasterpeace (Hyper Light Drifter and FEZ and It Follows composer... most of his sounds are Massive.)
One of the best tutorials I've ever seen and the original inspiration for me to go 100% ITB.
