In the specs on ni's website its written 490 Go for full install? Is it a typo or am I missing something?
Can't wait to try it!
It says here 1.6 GB for Massive X and 59 MB for the factory presets.
It downloaded in a very short time. 490 GB will be for the complete Komplete  .

There should be option to turn off the performer

1.6gb install? Christ. I mean our internet is good so that's not a problem but kind of unexpected. Guess it just has that many waveforms?

It's probably the graphics. Resizeable GUIs require lots of images.

You're right. Didn't even know what that thing down there was.

Any way to use that octave?

:o ill need to google translate that to see if you'll be hearing from my lawyer :tantrum:
The sentence makes no sense at all. It hurts my eyes to read such a bad german. Now i know how you guys feel reading my english here.

Little Correction:

"Vurt sagt, du kannst deinen Hintern nicht von deinem Ellenbogen unterscheiden."

Oh? I actually can appreciate resizeable GUI so so I guess I shouldn't mind that personally then

Was pretty funny that way though. :D

Ohh, the demo doesn't give an option to download between mac and Windows, so that's where the huge download comes from. Yeah half of that being mostly waveforms makes sense

Not, but, if you want a standalone, you can alway use Savihost (which most plugins use anyway, AFAIK), or Tone2 Nanohost.

I can't find one installed, so I assume not. All I see is the previous version of Massive as a standalone.

After playing for a while, despite really very nice sound, its a massive dissapointment. Massive from 2007 is better synth overal, would pick any day over this one. Main reason is because of how UI is convoluted. The performer mode. Browser is ok, but Massive 2007 is better, it has tags, ability to add favorites.

In some areas it might seem to be a step up but when sum it all, its a step down. I really dont understand why to make such an uninviting synth with Massive legacy is beyond me.
