Just installed.
The scaling in Ableton is somewhat messed up:
- If I enable ABleton scaling, the plugin is scaled but blurred
- If I disable Ableton scaling, but enable internal Massive scaling, the plugin is displaced and unusable
- If I enable both scalings, the plugin size gets multiplied (eg. 150% * 150% = 225%)

I think so too. I would have been on the edge there but 149 is over the top imho.
Anyone who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.

2hrs into it and i can really admit, i had my negative opinions, but i'm loving it and is a beast! I'm sure i'm going to get used to the bloated (in your face) GUI, and this is going to become my go to synth!! A little more testing and tomorrow is going to be Komplete upgrade day!!

Thanks, trying to explore the more "organic" side to this monster.LoveEnigma18 wrote: Thu Jun 27, 2019 5:30 pmSounds beautiful!PatchAdamz wrote: Thu Jun 27, 2019 5:28 pm Some Ambient Tweaking - Massive X

I agree. It's day one and this thing is deep.jeffb01 wrote: Thu Jun 27, 2019 5:08 pmUm... I'm the president of the Pigments fan club so you don't have to convince me. ha. but I'm just saying where pigments has 4 ways to manipulate the wavetable and Massive has 10 (not including PM), and each of those 10 have sub menus with additional sub menus and modular routing on top of that.Stefken wrote: Thu Jun 27, 2019 5:00 pm
I don't hear it in the sounds as of yet. In fact, I think the presets of hive 2 and pigments are more interesting.
And Pigments has a LOT of options too. Modulationwise it's a monster.
I agree that Pigments is a monster and sounds amazing, but don't judge what Massive can sound like by day one presets.
The UI doesn't help but I think we haven't seen yet what the synth can do.

last time i loaded a 32 bits host should be 10 years agochk071 wrote: Thu Jun 27, 2019 4:57 pm Make sure to load the correct version. Massive X is 64-bit only, so, you need the NanoHost64bit.exe.
it work on my laptop, but not on my surface go (which is my favorite device to make preset, on subway, at lunch time..)

My two cents.
The whole GUI looks very modern but somehow also outdated and partly "over complicated". Often functions are not self-explanatory, a "quick help" or "tooltip" would often be helpful.
I tried to make something by myself in the 30 min demo time.
The sound is excellent, the modulation system is the same as the old Massive. Synchronized LFO values could have a larger range, if you need a very slow running synchronized LFO you have a problem. The routing makes this synth very flexible, it reminds a bit of a modular system. Much is not finished yet.... User Wavetables, VST3? The preset browser is also very rudimentary.
Hmm... for a full price of 200€ (my Crossgrade price would be 149€) ?
When I compare Massive X with similar synths like Hive 2 or Dune 3 the decision for Massive X is quite difficult.
