We might sell some M-Audio stuff. But, there is no obligation to only carry that. The goal of esoundz is not to be just like other full music stores on the web that carry everything under the sun. The core of the site is sounds and then it branches out from there. It is not the kind of site where you can just shop for the lowest price on the surface. But, rather, it is a site where you can get some of the best VFM and added value bonuses, bundles and service.
One of the things we'll also be doing is putting together packages of hardware and software that have been tested to work well together and are good suggestions for people building a solid system. Plus, there are certain products that we like and use so we can recommend them to esoundz customers. Stuff like the UAD card which I have and think is really great or the Emulator X with the break out box which I also have and think is really great value (imagine if we threw in a free Emu format library with that! Wouldn't you rather buy it from esoundz then? That's what I mean about added value.)
I've been using the Keystation 88 recently and that'd be a good thing to carry for a low priced solution for a USB controller with 88 keys. Their BX5s and BX8s are also really good value and I am partial to the Firewire 410. But, we don't want to carry a million different interfaces. That's for major stores to handle. We just want to pick various hardware and accessories that go well with our sounds and software.
With software, hosts of course will be offered and with exclusive added value bundles. Some other plug-ins like Arturia's line will be added as well as some other brands. We've talked about having Cameleon on there since we were involved in some of its included sounds (in fact, we'll probably do an additional set of sounds that you can only get if you bought Cameleon from esoundz... or you can simply buy the patches for a good price if you didn't). We'll also sell other samplers incuding Giga 3 with a special sound set you can ONLY get from esoundz.com! Don't worry, we'll make it good. Don't we always?
Oh... there is one piece of our OWN hardware coming out too. I'm very excited about it. So, as you can imagine I am dying to tell you! This is something exclusive on esoundz.com that you won't be able to get anywhere else (or maybe just a few other places). We should have it just in time for the holidays. I wonder what it is! It is an SR product.
