I use fm8 alot and the new mseg are way easier to use. You can superimpose a time divided layer on top of a sequence to quickly add rythmic changes, and stretch/compress it to create acceleration for instance.KBSoundSmith wrote: Fri Jun 28, 2019 11:14 pm
Also, how is the MSEG/performer in use? Hard/easy, slow/fast to edit? I'm curious if an editing system like that might eventually trickle into a new version of FM8, etc.
At first i didnt see zooming and how to copy paste a sequence but the functions are there, no worries.
Once you have created variations, its possible to define an octave range on your keyboard and trigger performers with keyswitches.
