Liqih, I love that opening froggy sound and the derivations of it. Also, damn fine mix--so clean. Great song.
Doing nothing is only fun when you have something you are supposed to do.

EDIT: changed link to version with revised opening to have less overlap in frequency between first two sounds (holla at me if it needs more).

Instances of MSoundFactory: 14

Effects: TAL Reverb-4; Ableton effects (EQ Eight, Auto Filter (notch filter, no modulation), Multiband Dynamics, Glue Compressor, Utility, Instrument Rack (to group instances of MSoundFactory), Compressor); Midierror Stutterton Free (free Max for Live device)

OK, PeterH, you suggested I do this, so here I am:

https://soundcloud.com/david-coffin/pip ... -passes-by

I recorded myself noodling around in MSF using patches entirely of my own devising (though the piper's pipe was derived from a sweet MSF factory patch), used no samples (the drum sounds are from the drum synth out of MDrummer), nor any FX not included in MSF, then layered four of the recordings, with some chopping, fading, and a very little region looping.

Was inspired by a well-known painting by Paul Klee called Twittering Machine.

Welcome David! Nice expeimental Track and I like it. Good to see some references to Klee!

Thank you:)

I thought of the Twittering Machine painting before making the track, but this one is what springs to mind now that I'm finished:

Tal Chorus LX Plugin
Thought I'd say before too late, chorus not allowed :(
Sorry for that, but it gives you time to use MSF native and you can always freeze tracks on the non chorus ones and add so you shouldn't have an issue :)

Damn thanx for the info, it's not very important part of my song, I will remove it and propably use MSF native one.

Again, my submission for OSC:

As I previously wrote I had some DAW crashing because of MSF and the ending stage of doing the song so decided to leave it as it is (and then had to keep my fingers crossed it won't crash when I was replacing 3rd party chorus).
Anyway this synth is a mammoth, can't wait for sounddesigners to do some kickass presets for it.

Here is my submission for OSC # 124
Evanescent
https://soundcloud.com/cwaltonmusic/wlt ... evanescent

DAW: Studio One 4.5
8 instances of MSF, with one of those housing 2 separate instances, and another one housing 6 separate instances (percussion), so I suppose that makes 16 in total.
One instance of Presonus Fat Channel on the mixbus.
Sorry, I accidentally told a little fib because I thought I'd removed it, but I did use one instance of Polyverse Music Wider, other than that, no other 3rd party plugins were used.
There are numerous native fx used within each instance of MSF.
Most patches were my own creations, with a few tweaked presets. No samples were used and no presets were used as is.
