I'm pretty sure of it too, and I have absolutely no connection to NI. NI is not clueless when it comes to modern U/I development, look at any of their Reaktor synths, they put a LOT of effort into providing runtime info for the user. However, the static envelopes seem like a significant step backward. One could argue that they're there to explain the basic features, but pdxindy is right, that's a lot of wasted real estate just for that.Vortifex wrote: Sat Jun 29, 2019 2:03 pmWhat makes you sure about that?EvilDragon wrote: Sat Jun 29, 2019 1:58 pm Yeah I'm pretty sure there's gonna be more visual feedback down the road, but let's see.
So I firmly believe that the intention was for them to be active parts of the U/I but a decision was made early in this release cycle to make them static so that the effort could be put into making the sound engine reliable.
