Me too :?

me three (all 3 times i have tried it so far) ...

... shame really - since the look and the concept (and THOSE automation envelopes) are really quite appealing ...

Place someone who has never used a computer _to make music_ before on the testing. For me, cubase is the most intuitive software, because _I am used to that workflow_. If someone never used computer music software before, I think they would have quite different opinions than some bloke that has been doing music on computers for over ten years :)

(And I think podium is really tempting too, will try to understand it a bit better later on).

yes it is very pretty to look at I'll admit. quite sexy actually. But Stefan is right maybe I need to spend a little more time with it and give it another chance. the question is do I really need to. ahh, the complicated life of a gear slut :-o :hihi:
same here. I think it looks pretty cool. However, it's something else to learn. Slut that I am, if I can't get it done in the 3 hosts I already have (4 if you count XT) then there's little hope..

I had Cubase for about 3 months and, despite looking through the manuals several times, the only use I found for it was playing MIDI files I had downloaded. I would sit there trying to do something in it and after I while I would just go "f**k it! Time to fire up the TRINITY." Thank God I was able to return it.
