Somehow, I feel like if I fully understand the explodey thing, it will reveal deeply hidden esoteric knowledge about synthesis, and I'll have a much better understanding of Massive X. :)
I think it's logo splash intro

now if someone can explain me what THIS is, we're set to go

This button locks the Rate knob so if the rate changes it will only affect the next note.

That locks the frequency of its associated LFO or modulator. Click on the oval with your mouse to toggle the effect on or off. When it's engaged, moving the knob that normally controls LFO frequency no longer has any affect on LFO frequency.

I was expecting you to come with a history lesson about a band called Red Circle.

That's the walk-like-an-Egyptian button. I don't think I need to explain what that quintessential feature adds to the synth.

Makes it sound like all-girl 80s guitar pop

Massive X tip of the day: right mouse dragging the denominator of tempo synced values (say for LFO or delay time) gives you non-standard note divisions (beyond quarters, half notes, 16th notes, etc.). It goes to 99th notes. This could get you to some weird rhythmical places.

That's very cool news. Thanks! 😎
