Using RC on Windows I seem to recall that when I drug in a part whether it be 1 or the whole piece, it would import the chords as midi markers.
I am new to Logic/Mac and I am finding that when dragging in a part, the markers don't show up. If I export to midi then start a new piece in Logic from the midi file, the markers show up so they are being exported in the midi file.
It may be Logic's behavior, RC on Mac, or it may be me, not sure. Any help appreciated!

I just checked the dragged MIDI files and all of them (be it whole composition, a single track, or the selected phrases) included the chords as MIDI markers. Probably Logic handles dragged MIDI files differently.
You can check this if you drop the MIDI file on a Finder window, and import it in Logic.
Thanks,
Attila
