Thanks!EvilDragon wrote: Fri Jul 05, 2019 12:26 pm Got the answer.
"Int" means "use internal phase on/off". On - uses main oscillator's phase, off - uses phase of mod oscillators (PM1/PM2) - can be used to make the sound inharmonic.

As an electronics technician who formerly installed and repaired X-ray machines and other electronic medical devices, I find that comment slightly disappointing.Vortifex wrote: Fri Jul 05, 2019 10:46 am I find myself liking the sound but disliking almost everything else. When I load it up and look at it I don't get that slight buzz of "woop, time to make sounds!" like I do with other synths that I enjoy. Said it before but it feels like I'm staring at medical equipment in a lab or something.
These days, whenever I'm sick and visit the hospital, I'm always admiring the user interfaces and electronic engineering skills that went into the modern medical electronic equipment I see. Some of this gear has absolutely beautiful control panels, and the hardware it controls is some of the best engineered, most durable, most tested and scrutinized equipment on Earth. I find such exotic and well-made equipment inspiring.
As a side note, I once had some ultrasonic medical imaging done on my heart. The machine was measuring the blood flow through the various chambers of my heart. While it was doing the measuring, it was converting the imagery into audio, to assist the technician in finding the best placement of the ultrasound probe. I wish I could have recorded and sampled that audio. I swear, some of the "schwacka schwacka" sounds I heard were very similar to the first ten seconds of Voodoo Child, by Jimi Hendrix. Now, that was inspiring, realizing my Voodoo Child heart could play Hendrix!
Pay attention to the first ten seconds:
