That's the impression I've been getting. Get on YouTube, do lots of cranky rants on a regular basis, and rake in the ad revenue. That seems to be the basic formula a lot of folks are using.

I can't wait when youtubers will include politics to audio software reviews (it's a matter of time).
MX is racist because it's mostly covered in white colour and NI are nazis! They whitewashed original Massive. Scandal! Shocking!

It’s not a great metric. But then what do I know, I don’t even have a YouTube channel.

It’s not that common for software actually. A lot of people are just disappointed by Massive X for some very legitimate reasons. I’m more shocked by all the people trashing those expressing disappointment with MX and claiming they aren’t an expert enough so their opinion doesn’t count or something. I’ve seen a few videos with poor reviews and while I couldn’t care less about the aliasing stuff, there are plenty of criticisms someone might like to hear about before trying or purchasing.pixel85 wrote: Fri Jul 05, 2019 8:51 pm I see more videos like 'MX big disappointed why you should uninstall it'. Agreed. I wish KVR had a "like" button. I'm a big "fanboy" of some synths (like Pigments), but when people make legit complaints, I don't rush to defend it. I'm usually like, I hope they fix that in a update.Echoes in the Attic wrote: Fri Jul 05, 2019 9:15 pmIt’s not that common for software actually. Express all of the disappointment that you want, but don't start making incorrect factual claims about things that you don't understand unless you are ok with being called out on it.jeffb01 wrote: Fri Jul 05, 2019 9:26 pmAgreed. I love it when "producers" have money for everything: Interface, a studio desk (!) and of course a biiiig chair. Proper monitors (?) f**k them... nobody needs that shit.Stefken wrote: Fri Jul 05, 2019 8:26 pm This is becoming way to positive here.
