Why again, is there a reason to argue with obvious trolls?

bmanic wrote: Sat Jul 06, 2019 7:06 pmAs a customer of Image-Line since version 1.2 of FL Studio I say with no small uncertainty that things ramped up and improved vastly after Gol left. Weirdly enough they finally started adding some basics that users had been asking forever and the whole operation became a lot more professional on all levels
Well that's because we no longer had to argue with a creative savant genius about everything shown in these videos. This is all post Didier (gol) development, and was delivered free to customers. No small feat.

This demonstrate in a big way the development in FL Studio and all the advancement since then, thank you guys, continue delivering those nice Lifetime Free Updates. No wonder why many of the competitions hates you.

The image line hq's is literally a 10 min walk from my home , ( they used to reside in one the richest neighboorhouds in belgium aka st-martens latem ) , now they are located in the city .
But that is of course of no relevance , fl studio has never been king of the hill ,seriously
The only reason why kids talk about it it's because it's the most easily to grab cracked software , and once they are comfortable with the workflow ..they keep using it .
Once the kidos realise that studio one has a step sequencer (polyrytm and polymeter in one sequencer :tu: ) they wil just jump ship
I still defend my point they have not been doing any serious dsp development since gol left , the days that I.L. housed talent like arguru and gol are long gone .
Even more evidence they have been sliding downhill. Let's not forget about the sell off of Deckadance too. They've also put a lot of resources into the Mac port, which hasn't quite paid off either. All this coupled with the Google Trends downhill slide, it's clear they're not the once BIG fish in the tiny pond anymore, they are now a tiny fish in an ocean of choices.
The evidence here is that you are a hater quoting another hater in order to support your illusory imagination, even when the proves are in your face, I mean if you don't like anything from FL Studio just move on, do you have an agenda? there almost understandable reasons to report your attitude to the mods now after everything that has been said and demonstrated.

Look closely at the data after the system data collection change, it is still trending downward, hard to argue with facts. Let's just move one, since you're unable to accept the evidence laid out in front of you. Along with all the other facts, it's pretty clear which direction their popularity and interest is heading. You can choose to believe whatever they tell you, but I can see past the smoke and mirrors.

It's not all their fault though, there is a lot of great competition available now, it's hard to blame them.
The problem here ictools is that this statistic is what you want to see, but is the same you are displaying from the first page of this topic, IL has already displayed the bigger picture of what is happening, but no, you don't see that, you need to bring your statistic (cherry picking) again and again, it is clear that you're the one who doesn't want to see, with all respect.

You don't like FL Studio? move on, we get it you don't like it.
I think the evidence and statistics paint a clear picture why Image-Line is choosing to give away a free instrument in an incremental update. This is beyond the norm for them and it's pretty obvious they are taking drastic measures to stay relevant.

It's perfectly fine to disagree. There is also no reason to resort to personal attacks. You've stayed pretty civil in discussing our opinions, so hats off to that. We really can't ask for much more then that on a public forum.

There's also no shame in a company trying to stay relevant in a now crowded industry with a plethora of great options. It's probably a good thing for Image-Line to make a move like this, because their updates have been rather stagnant as far as features and new devices goes.

Who knows maybe they can regain some of that market share they once had, but as the numbers don't lie and competition only grows tougher, there's a long road ahead for their tiny company.

They still do have a stronghold on the younger crowd in the European countries though, but I'm not sure if that results in actual sales numbers. Visits to download pages doesn't prove downloads or installs and surely doesn't guarantee sales.

I guess only the future will tell, until then enjoy your ability to voice your own opinion, because sometimes that's all we have.

Peace.

Because it has always been like this. A new Fruityloops is released and Edward comes trolling. Which in return leads Scott from IL to counter-troll. It's hilarious and it's always fun to troll IL threads.

Though I miss the good old days of Gol trolling. He was a top-notch troll.

Edward, you can't have this both ways. First you say changes in Google Search show we are in some sort of trouble. Now you say these statistics don't relate to sales.

Which one is it?

I counter-troll to bump the thread. But Edward always seems to miss that point.

He certainly saved this one from obscurity ;)

Only that it's not your business. In reality nobody give a f*ck if you pipe up or not. You are a nobody and people just take the opportunity to have some amusement here as nobody take you serious not even your troll friends and IL haters here. Your point is that you don't have a point. Your behaviour is so surreal ike IL would comment your life and tell you how you have to do your day job.

Hi scott. I still got many performance problems with fl studio. Studio one and bitwig so far seem more stable and reload my projects without probs. But i dont like them so far so much like fl..... i got always random crashes with the same plugs i use in other daws unpredicted in fl. Fl studio finally needs some kind of reload containers or whatever to be able to still load a crashed project. As a user you cannot find out what crashed it. In studio one it crashes only 2 times when i had loaded a plugin e.g. spl transient designer after updating it it worked when loaded. It showed me though that it had probs with this plugin.

I dont need new colours and shortcuts but possibilities not to report ALWAYS unstable projects.....

Please work with the developers in the Technical Support forums and we will get to the bottom of it.

Windows - https://forum.image-line.com/viewforum.php?f=200

macOS - https://forum.image-line.com/viewforum.php?f=1965

That's the only way to really fix these issues, give the developers a way to reproduce them.

It's just Edward ;)
Indeed. Edward's fixation doesn't achieve anything other than creating an online presence that is interpreted as being a little odd and obsessive - focused on false details that wouldn't matter to anyone outside of Image-Line even if they were true.

The perception of those who think that FL Studio hasn't grown dramatically over the years comes from people who obviously don't use the software; The spreading of misinformation only serving to reflect back as a lack of credibility.

Of course the software can be improved - all software can be improved! And it's great to watch FL Studio growing and improving.

Good post man. In my mind he's a very intelligent guy no doubt, and he's walking the the line a lot better these days realizing that lighting off a couple of firecrackers won't get you banned, but pulling out an assault rifle will.
What I would really love to know, preferably before I die, is why the obsession with the whole Image-Line/Propellerhead thing. I wish there were some kind of biography or something that I could read, then I would be able to fully understand the why, then he wouldn't seem like just some disfigured random wacko guy who's sole existence is to annoy the crap out of these two companies and anybody who supports them.
