Next major release we will have separate 32 and 64 Bit installers (hopefully).Distorted Horizon wrote: Tue Jul 09, 2019 11:42 am Is there a way to get rid of the legacy (32bit only) plugins? I don't remember which they were and they pop up back again with every update I install.
Some "disable legacy plugs" option, instead of manually deleting them every time?

That's the Plan.Unaspected wrote: Tue Jul 09, 2019 11:34 amAre we talking full playlist integration of Newtone? That's something I've wanted to see for years. But straight warp editing without having to create new clips manually would indeed be great.

Well I am COO, so I am reflecting the feelings of the senior management team, if that is your question.THE INTRANCER wrote: Tue Jul 09, 2019 7:37 amYou have a company name attached here as your user name, how you interact has reflection on the company itself, and that's the point I'm making.
We have always told customers and the world how we feel about various things. Unlike, I suppose, most other DAWs companies these days. Image-Line isn't run by hired-in career-level managers. Everyone here built the platform we are standing on, so you will get a little passion at times.
We really have a close and personal relationship with this product, and are proud of it. Everyone you talk to has put at least years of blood sweat and tears into FL Studio. If that comes across as a lack of self confidence, its not how things really are.

I have no issues with the selling add on sound packs. The FL ecosystem is actually good value.Image-Line wrote: Tue Jul 09, 2019 4:47 amWhy do you say "Just"? Unless we make money, we can't pay developers and you don't get any software
On that topic, our next FLEX pack will be free - Synthwave (The Future Past) x 130 presets. Coming soon...

I am still not convinced by the transistor bass
I think there is a reason ( I could be wrong ) why the demo video does not show a lot of consecutive accented , octave up/down steps .
Now matter how hard I try , it sounds static
Sure , the transistor bass parameters scaling is different , but tweaking the hell out of it still doesn't get it close ( adjusting hp on square , gate length and minimum decay )
IN abl3 you can hear that typical TWoink sound , which seems to be absent in transistor bass
If anyone can nail the sound , I''ll buy you a beer
First 4 bars is abl3 , next 4 is transistor bass

Utter Bollocks
I´ve read already a lot of examples here, where users were banned and their postings got deleted because of being against Presonus...
With 1 or 2 issues I would say... ok this was perhaps a troll ... but it was far more...
EDIT: Just one example: https://www.gearslutz.com/board/presonu ... forum.html

As long as you keep it civilized , there is no problem at all
I have reported numerous bugs , even being contacted by a beta bester to thank me for the time I have put into it , and I have been only using studio one for about 2 months .

Just a moment. Are you really comparing Transistor Bass to ABL3?gentleclockdivider wrote: Tue Jul 09, 2019 12:22 pm I am still not convinced by the transistor bass ...

Transistor Bass emulates (almost exactly) a real TB303. As shown in the video.
I am not sure what I can say here other than to do the comparison against the gold standard, not another emulation.

Maybe a bit different question but had to ask - is there any way FL Studio can be used an a VST effect? I remember it was working as a synth but there was feature request to be ale to run it as an effect. Was it ever implemented?Image-Line wrote: Tue Jul 09, 2019 1:13 pmJust a moment. Nice one! Any longer term plans for a logical editor style function to select groups of midi notes by velocity/length etc? Pains me to still have to do this outside of FL when editing my hideously bad midi guitar controller playing. I'm sure keyboardists would welcome it too - is a feature of a lot of the competitors (Cubase, Sonar, Reaper, Logic as far as I know) after all.Image-Line wrote: Tue Jul 09, 2019 11:48 amThat's the Plan.Unaspected wrote: Tue Jul 09, 2019 11:34 amAre we talking full playlist integration of Newtone?
