I do not need thousands of plugins, there is no material time to use them and I hate the subscription model.

Hmmmm, does this mean regular sales are going end in the hope people get with the subscription thingy?... One would assume so.

I don't think PA is quite as bad as Avid. Avid has no place in my heart anymore. Even after Avid's doubling of the perpetual renewal, a perpetual license is still cheaper than the subscription they rape everyone for. Just don't renew for 3 years and pay the reinstatement fee if you have to use Pro Tools. Cubase is a better option for post to avoid the subscriptions.
