I got my deal of a life time apparently
Just so happens I got more then one
My account I actually buy plugins with and use actively $199 per year
Now the redundant account I had where I never purchased anything I was offered $179
Way to go PA, really reward your loyal existing customers lol either way I don’t have any interest in the subscription model just found it amusing the marketing strategy PA have adopted

I'd prefer some kind of rent to own system, staying out of subs to avoid projects with lots of plugins I no longer have access to if I opt out later.

Yeah, this is not the deal of my lifetime, PA. More like the deal of your lifetime.
I'm curious how this works with my existing plug-ins? That's not clarified at all.

Do they get folded into the subscription? That would suck, because that means my perpetual licenses aren't perpetual anymore.

Do they stay separate? Does it mean I have double licenses then and can offload them on the marketplace here (together with everyone else)? That would suck, because the resell value just tanked to 0. Terrible business strategy, because then I'll rather just lurk around the marketplace, snag them up for next to nothing and pay the transfer fee with a voucher?? That will probably be cheaper than this deal.

Or, and this seems most likely, will the subscription just add the ones I don't have? Then it's just a very expensive subscription deal.

Load of hype over nothing.. or maybe it is something, if they go with my option 2.. that's actually gonna ruin their business.

EDIT: it says voucher codes, but I only see one of them?

What's messed up, is that the email only shows ONE voucher for the MC77...not the others. Instead, it says "Copy and paste this code..."

Ridiculous.

nothing in my account about vouchers or anything - I've bought a few things from them but really can't see me going down that subscription route. Way too much competition

This DOAL sucks really bad. I mean...REALLY BAD. This is like giving someone a Xmas gift that they don't really want and on top of it, the gift requires them to pay a monthly fee to use it. It's like giving someone a Playstation 4 with a game they don't want and realize that in order to play it, they have to pay the PSN+ fee to play online with others because the game is multiplayer. Remember Destiny days? smh....

I mean...it sucks for me...but for the younger guys that want it all and are used to paying subscriptions for everything...even their girlfriends, this is probably and Deal of Their Lifetime...but not mine.
