Specifically i'm looking for the really clean trance synth used in the melody for Txitxarro remix - In Silence which comes in at 4m:45s as the melody unfolding.
Sounds close to the main synth in the Greece 2000 melody.
Any of you heard this preset somewhere before or know of one you think sounds the same?
Recognize the preset from Three drives - Greece 2000 or In Silence (Txitxarro Mix)?

It's not that easy. It's something different than a usual pluck sound with a subtractive synth. I would say it could be a modified "lately bass" or solid bass preset from a FM synth, but I am curious if someone can come up with the original preset.

My guess is also subtractive (not FM). A mix of a square (odd harmonics) and saw (odd and even), detuned, maybe unison. Immediate start and fast decay (pluck) to some appropriate sustain level on AMP, no or short release. Or just gated (on/off, with zero attack, decay, release).
About finding the exact preset. If it's an old analog synth/patch there is (generally) no preset, maybe just a picture of the knob settings. If it is a preset it is only usefull if you also have the appropriate (hard- or software) synth.
Anyway...
It's not a complicated sound. It also helps that it is short (and therefore more forgiving). I'm pretty sure that simple free synths like Synth1, TAL NoiseMaker or OBxD (earlier versions still free) will come real close real soon.
You can try for yourself online....
