Hi:
Do anyone have experience with online jam sessions?

What are the best sites?

Post

I prefer to make my jam at home alone. Some strawberries and apricots and I'm good to go. But would be curious to hear others' thoughts.

Jamulus: frequently empty but I run my own server, pretty good now internet speeds have picked up (sub-20ms to much of Western Europe from London, which is quite usable)
NINJAM: busy and overcomes internet latency in its own fashion
Commercial: not used any, can't see the point.

Hi,
Have you ever tried Koord’s private server creation?
https://koord.live/
You can create a rehearsal session room in a couple of clicks and connect IP to Jamulus or Ninjam/Jamtaba.

It’s very easy but If you need help setting up send me a message.

In the 12 months since my last post, Jamulus usage has exploded.

There are groups around the world jamming - including groups jamming around the world. Weekly events with people from the US and Russia playing live with people from Europe. I was jamming this evening with a guy from Boston, MA.

You can find all the public servers here: xxxx://jamulus.softins.co.uk/ https://explorer.jamulus.io/
