Why couldn’t we plug a few of them into a hub?

At the moment it’s currently not possible to connect to more than one USB stick at a time. While it would be possible in theory, we don’t think enough users would take advantage of this feature to justify the amount of effort required to add it.

Even though it'd be tempting to hit 8 Truenos in to a usb hub, it'd cost 800-1200€ and at that price you could buy some analog polysynth

no, but something sensible, like one for a bass one for a lead sound, for bones live for example, save luggage space even compared to a monotron

Apparently it's only designed to work with one at a time. I imagine multiple audio streams over USB might also be a limitation. It's something they could look at for a new product, though - a device with four Truenos in one or something.

But then you'd only have an analogue polysynth. Trueno is both analogue and digital. To me it's more like a monophonic Prologue than anything else.

What I'd be looking at is using more than one synth at a time, like multiple instances of a VSTi, rather than polyphony. It just sounds like a synth I'd want more than one instance of in a lot of songs, a lot of the time. The way the USB ports are arrayed on my new laptop - one either side and another at the back, I could easily run three of them but I think two would be enough for my needs. For now, though, I can use it with my Uno so it should be OK. (I still love the Uno.)

Might be a while, I'm in the middle of moving everything across to the new lappie and I've deactivated all the licenses from the old one.

My Trueno landed in Sydney today so it's on-track for delivery tomorrow. Incredible service!

Hey all - I received the Trueno but for some reason neither the AU not the VST show up in Ableton. Restarted machine, nothing. Any ideas?

It’s very bizarre. Just went and doubled check the directories. The plugins are there. And they are the only ones not showing up in Live.
