Are you in some localised 1970s time distortion field?

Going back to Blake's 7, I always remember being round at my mate's house and we were watching some thriller with Jacqueline Pearce in it as the 'leading lady' (continuing the 70s theme). There was a scene where she gut off with the villain and my mate's dad parped up loudly, "fuckin 'ell he's shagging Servelan!"

Many people here probably have a better impression than I do. I've been using the site since at least 2004 but I only signed up to post in 2012 and visit sporadically - though I've been getting involved more of late. You lucky fellows.
Previously, I used the site for the plugin database and discussions on DSP - so I avoided a lot of drama.
Regardless, I would like to believe that Wags really has turned a corner in his life. Maybe I am being naive or overly optimistic but it seems he has made a number of radical steps, sequentially. Indeed, I've never seen this kind of thing on any internet forum before. If his transformation is real then this has to be the best thread I've ever been part of. So I can only wish Wags motivation and good vibes.
This place is really growing on me.
Anyway. Sorry if I pissed on the fire.

I assure you this transformation is quite real. In fact, today I went to my grammar school reunion. Now that may not seem like a big deal but in grammar school I was picked on constantly and I swore I never wanted to see any of these people ever again.Unaspected wrote: Sat Jul 27, 2019 10:02 pm Many people here probably have a better impression than I do. But today, I decided to put the past behind me and start over so I went. I had the best time. Everybody was so nice to me.
I am truly so excited about attempting to get into production music. And not because of the money, because there is no guarantee that I will make any, but it's something different. And it doesn't seem to be as competitive as the pop field. And since my goals are modest, I don't think I'll have any problems achieving them.
Time will tell.

i think you need therapy. i’m a therapist. i have been in therapy for many years. if you want to achieve your goals and you’re having these kinds of conflicts within and without it would be an excellent first step. set yourself up for success. i feel that you’ve been calling out for a long long while for this kind of help. answer the call.
