Timing/Alignment Problems In Cubase 10?

I'm not sure if it's just me, but I am having a terrible time getting clips and midi notes to line up. I pull the midi notes out and it's either longer or shorter than the clip itself, but the clip was made with snap on as well. For instance, where is the bars and beats setting in C10? I can't find it. I've never had these problems with earlier editions of Cubase.

Very confusing. Is everyone else having this problem. I'm constantly having to go back and forth between 10, 100 and 1000 ms and it still only works half the time. Is anyone else having these problems?

This happened to me. I had to start C10 in safe start mode and delete program preferences.

Interesting. How do I start C10 in safe mode on a mac?

Perhaps it’s because you are using grid relative snap ?

Been using cubase since the mid 90s but never had that problem for whatever it’s worth

I've tried changing all that and nothing seems to make a difference. I cant find the "beats setting" in C10 at all. Do you know where it went? In Cubase 9.5 under "Grid Type", you can chose between "Bar", "Beat", "Use Quantize" or "Adapt To Zoom". In C10, under "Grid Type", you can only choose between "1ms, 10ms, 100ms or 1000ms".

I don't even know what those numbers mean. Where are the old choices under "Grid Type"?

You seem to be in time display mode as opposed to bars and beats. Change it on the transport bar.

OMG, you fixed it! Didn't know about that option. Thank you thank you, thank you. I have no idea how it got set to that mode.
