No.
Means more hardware on the desk, I'd have to whisper in the dead of night, I'd have to turn the mic off every time someone walked in room, feedback from the mic may interfere with listening to the mix... Means more trouble than it's worth.
ps
We're a long way from Star Trek standards of voice control.

Have you ever tried talking to Alexa when the TV is on? It's like talking to a legally deaf person.yehboy1 wrote: Thu Aug 01, 2019 4:36 pm Assuming it works well and is straightforward, e.g., "Hey Ableton, bring up the bass to [X setting] and reduce the vocals to [Y setting]," would you be interested in it?

It sounds like a really slow way of working compared to moving a mouse, typing, touching a screen or using a MIDI controller. I don't see any advantage in it for able bodied people. It might be a good idea for disabled people who can't easily use traditional methods to interact with computers.yehboy1 wrote: Thu Aug 01, 2019 4:36 pm Assuming it works well and is straightforward, e.g., "Hey Ableton, bring up the bass to [X setting] and reduce the vocals to [Y setting]," would you be interested in it?
