It's more work than the other packs to make it your own but I think it pays off.

I just changed the patch shadowland to this:

What I don't understand in the concept of this pack, is why most patches have such long legato slide times?

But Avenger is becoming my favorite synth...

Exactly...and not being able to play a single or chord or melody without sounding weird. This xp, imo, is a total miss. Can I send mail to support and ask them to replace this xp with some other...or its not possible?

you as a producer dont need to do EVERYTHING. Its perfectly ok, and very common in the business, especially on cinematic/media compositions to take an existing loop or a chord progression idea or just a wonderful atmosphere which transports a certain mood as a core element in your track and build your own stuff around it. There are hundreds of Kontakt plugin cinematic libraries which work exactly the same way and feature loops, but they work with loops and timestretching. In Avenger we use granular, which makes you even more independend from BPM and root key and let you dive into the synthesis and do things like reverse play, modulations of grains etc.

the legato is used to force it monophonic, since its not playable polyphonic anyways and would eat up the CPU heavily

here is a complete walkthrough of every preset, you can clearly see that always 1 key is pressed!

Manuel, I just would like to give you some praise. Not only is Avenger a great versatile powerhouse of a synth, and your expansions are almost always top notch, but what I admire the most is how much time you put into creating all your videos and being here answering all questions.

melodies can be changed, arps can be turned off, all oscs/sounds can still be transformed Avenger is open to all changes instead of using one note to trigger everything. Program it the way you want
How can you change a melody in a sample...? LOL :D I should make my own then and replace it, but than this xp looses its purpose. Again, let me restate this: this xp is showing might of Avenger and it does it well, but usefulness of this xp...its pretty much questionable...
I never said change a sample obviously, but you can change anything else

With this particular expansion I have made my own patches as well.

yes you have over 400 new granular source samples to chose from when having the Atmospherica XP
- all optimized for being used in the granular module (root note c, looping perfectly etc)

Manuel, this is not in the Avenger documentation, but what is the absolute best import settings to make our own multisamples and granular sound the best?
E.g. WAV, 48000 sample rate, 24bit PCM, normaized to -0.5db, resample mode 512pt Sinc ?
And Granular, centered on C3 ?

no one should use 48k, this is more common in the film/media business, rather than music
and granular should be on C, except you want to manually transpose it later to fit

edit: if its middle-C there's a debate as to whether its C3 or C4... Wondering what Avenger classes as Middle C?

Hi there.
Maybe someone can tell me how to correctly deactivate Avenger license on a computer where it is no longer needed.
Thanks.

Avenger uses C2 mostly

when you press the C key, in the Avenger upper readout there must be C2
