The bandpass section of this new filter is also very usable to transform any noisy sample eg a cymbal into a tuned note for melodies / chords. Set the bandwidth small enough so only (around) a specific MIDI note comes thru (eg 261.6 Hz = C4). As pitching the sample towards the MIDI key is applied after the filter, there is implicit key follow.
Remember to put the Balance full right so to only use the band pass section.
Raise the Gain to compensate for the heavy filtering.

Below a little video demonstrating the usefulness of the new spectral filter. The session starts with a simple drumloop sample and except for the clap sample that is added around 2'07" the drums are a pure remix of that original drumloop sample.

M8.1.4 is available in http://www.mutools.com/mulab/beta/
The only change is that the left side spectral filter section label has been shortened to "Low + High".

- Fixed several issues when doing Sample -> DSP Functions -> Stretch.
- When applying Sample -> DSP functions that alter the sample's length (eg Stretch, Resample) then MuSampla audio display was not properly updated. Fixed.
- Changing stretch factor with holding [Shift] now steps per 100%.
