Hello. i need some help with something. I use fruity loops, and i was wondering if there is any way i can get other songs in there... say if i downloaded a song onto my computer, is there a way i can get that sound file to play in fruity loops? because i wanted to get some words out of a song and remix it.
thanks
Fruity loops help?

just a word of warning: 'round these parts, your question might be construed as displaying an ignorance about the program that bespeaks using an illicit version. While this may or may not be true, that's the way things generally seem to work.
As to your question.
-Are you talking about loading mp3's into FL or are you talking about loading other *.fls / *.zip files into FL?
If you want to use mp3's or wav's or other complete audio samples, you're out of luck. the best you could do would be to load the song as a sample and EQ the vocals out the best you could. I find it well nigh impossible to remove vocals from music.
If it is a *.fls file, than you should see the lyrics as samples in the pattern window.
Basically, you just load the sample into a sampler or audio clip channel and hope you can tweak individual elements until they sound right.

My guess is that your trying to put some loops or sounds underneath that song. You can either put the whole song into the piano roll editor and make the note as long as the song or you can put in on the bottom where you can view the FX tracks. Or you can use a sampler.....whatever ....it can be done.
