Who is BigTone? Homepage? Producers?

me too, i'am also a big fan of his presets and soundsets. I produce techhouse, minimal and melodic techno and his sounds are together with plughugger very usefull and fit into my music. I bought very nice expansions for alchemy, avenger, synthmaster and zebra

Does anyone have a source of links to his products/soundsets? His homepage seems very old and not up to date I know of some Nexus expansions which were great and I'd like to know if he did some sounds for more exotic synths.

I don't know of any single list. BigTone is also known as Nico Hertz, so you may find some sounds under that name, as well as that dude named Brock.

But right off the top of my head I can name a few...

Diva (3rd party - BigTone eco bank)

As a professional sound designer myself, I've always tended to do my own thing and for the most part use my own sounds.

..but if there's one other professional sound designer who's sounds have always inspired me and made me want to use them in my own tracks (which I have)... it's Big Tone

The tableworks expansion is a good demonstration of the new SynthMaster wavetable feature upgrade.

Absolutely, really love it! Still hoping for a sequel of the amazing work, also more of those kind in the SM1.

He made also awesome presets for almost all the Linplug synths (Albino, Cronox, CrX4, Octopus, Spectral, Alpha...)

I have even a soundset for Spectral that he made in collaboration with Arksun.

FYI: there are 3 banks of Bigtone presets included in the re-released Vanguard.

He also did some of the default presets that shipped with the Roland V-synth. And he has done some for some of the Tone2 synths.

Big Tone is probably the greatest sound designer that ever lived.

Look in your synths> does it say BT? That's Big Tone.

He's wrecked and rinsed every synth worth wrecking and rinsing.

Linplug Alpha? Wowser. That was him.

+Z3TA - that was him too.

He wrote the rule book. Ripped it up. Then put it down your mama's drain.

Nothing compares.

The thing is. He's a genius. But he's a humble genius. There is not a sound designer alive that can compare to him. But he never blows his own trumpet.

He might get a bit uppity sometimes. But that's rare. And you are probably mistaking him for someone else.

No one else compares.

BT is the greastest sound designer that ever lived.

Maybe one day, he will be appreciated for the absolute Rock God he is.

You have his work in your free synths.

Feel the quality. Bathe in the warm bath of his genius.

There are only 3 or 4 other sound designers on the whole planet that have his ability. And only 1 or 2 of them ever gave their work for free.

He's a one man music machine of goodness.

A true true genius of the synthesizer. The sampler. The Oscillator. The Envelope Generator.

Appreciate him.

Love him.

Men like him only come around once in a lifetime.

And you lived in his time.

Same have been said about Stalin and Hitler hahaha...i'll say that,some people work hard,other harder ...like this user attitude and devotion ,probably we all need more of it :):)
