Cubase 5 Batch import of Wav's and setting of Musical mode/tempo?

Hi

As the title says...

Is there a way of importing multiple small wav files (which all go on one track which I know how to do) BUT have Cubase auto set the Musical Mode to ON and the Tempo to O Bar, 1 Beat. Then Snap each file to the Grid using Beat/1/1?

I have a cut up wav file that consists of 446 individual 1 beat long files that I need to import and change the settings for each single file as shown above so that they will change to what ever tempo I set but doing each file one at a time is madness so any help would be greatly appreciated as I also have another 8 full length wav files to do after this one.
