Signed up for the year studio sub with the 50% discount, was trying for an age to apply the discount to the monthly plan and getting flummoxed. Was thrown by the new layout at first, seemed a bit bewildering, after I changed the settings to black theme, multicoloured waveforms and show detailed results, everything felt familiar again.

Things I've noticed is the price for individual samples seems to have come way down, into a more pleasing range, doesn't seem as loud now, as I was having to turn it down loads before on the daw plugin. Couldn't find the new drum box and synth for a while, until it dawned on me they were separate downloads, after doing some reading.

Like all the little tweaks, price of the drum packs, be nice to have the drum packs in other formats too, like maschine, mpc etc, maybe be cheeky and enable uploading of maschine, battery and mpc kits to the cloud, drag and drop onto the drum plugin and also to the original sources.

What I'd like to see, most of these have probably been asked for already, but ima gonna ask again. Home should go to your sample library and loopmasters store should be called store, was confused by that at first. And samples you've favourited, retain the favourite tag after uploading to the cloud. Maybe a bit more juice to the upload servers, as it was moving at a glacial pace, but I understand the servers are probably getting hammered at the moment.

Also pitch shift in hertz would come in handy, range between 426-456 would be welcome, for times when I'm wearing my purple trousers and favour a celestial tuning, this would be in addition to the pitch shifting already in place. Wishlist button for when in the store on whole packs. I'd like to have a loopcloud mini browser with just the keys features and a keep window on top selection in preferences.

Overall though very happy I subscribed, got the 3,600 points upfront, that was more than worth the subscription alone, just grabbed hope by cinetools, deep melodic vocals by samplestate and epica 2 by freakyloops in the 50% off sale and still have just over 1,000 points left, had about 125 points already. Very excited to see how loopcloud develops, as this is a great update. Btw I think an ios version would do well, as they be fiends.

When will the V5 User Guide be ready..?

Really am loving this software. It's probably true to say that everything it does you can do using instances of Ableton Sampler/Simpler but this is so much quicker and immediate and those drop-down grid patterns are a revelation. Drop a Bongo or Hats loop and hit the Random button for the grid. Nothing else quite like it.

I still have issues with disappearing waveform previews when I upload samples to the cloud. Therefore: back to Loopcloud support (which is no longer nearly as responsive anymore as they used to be a couple of days ago).

I have now reproduced this bug several times and also contacted their support several times about it. Provided screenshots and everything. No response whatsoever. Neither here nor by email. Sorry, but I need to give this one a pass. It is way too buggy and useful support is basically non existent.

Fixed the crashing issue for large tag searches, however when I go to the "Free" tag and try ot preview anything it does not load. The preview window has the little circle in it and it just keeps spinning. All Free tagged samples have this issue.

is there a way to remove the loopcloud registration packs, and loopmasters welcome packs etc from the my library section.. i didnt download them to my hard drive as their not something id use but the names are in my library folder..

Lol.. I drag 117bpm "original" to my 145bpm project, it comes with original pitch but tempo synced to that 145bpm.
Then I drag the modified version with +3 semitones, it still comes with the original pitch but the tempo is around 173bpm

Guys -- there is no way to add user tags to current loops that you have bought and downloaded and are on one of the eight tracks currently ... without finding them again which is painful. Can you please provide a way to do that. Or am i missing a way to do it?

Finding the files in the editor is on our list to sort out. You aren't missing anything. We didn't think of it!

Well that's a new problem. What about non-free store items?

@jcredland When you add your own samples to the library, does it duplicate them or just read them from their original location? What about when you edit one of your own files within loopcloud - does it save the edited version separate to the original sample location?
