Or are you using your motherboard audio inputs ?

If either, have you checked for new drivers ?

Yes, I am using on-board audio and the latest drivers from the MB maker.

Anyway, seems the W10 update yesterday fixed the problem whatever it was. Knock on wood

Yes, it is a Korg, from the MicroKey series.

My Korg padKontrol vanished after the last W10 update. I tried installing the new drivers but did not work. I tried uninstalling all the drivers tools from the program manager and reinstalling, and same results. I finally noticed in the device manager that for some reason the Korg DriversTools installer was not actually installing the new driver.

After deleting the driver from the hardware device manager and reinstalling, it is working again, even though the rest of utilities (or tools) that are installed do not see it and give an error if you try to run them. The padKontrol editor works fine, though.

There has been a lot of problems reported with Korg drivers after the last W10 update.

Maybe the update will fix your problems as well

Yes, it would be great as I was already missing the possibility of using my music software.

After 5 days without problems, the problem is back again just like it was before.
I don't get it, really...
