Does anyone use this?

I just bought it but I'm seriously considering about asking a refund.. Tbh I get the same result, or better, with Reaper and snap to scale feature. Plus Reaper has TONS of scales while Odesi only has few lame ones.

I bought this that I'd have some sketch tool where I could just drop the midi to Bitwig and work it on but.. Like I said, I have similar or better with Reaper

Only good thing is, that Odesi has few rhythms that I wouldn't have thought by myself.

The problem is if you are looking for a standalone tool that this one is kind of discontinued cause they now only work on the vst versions, Captain plugins.

I think there is an upgrade path but of course you will have to use the plugins inside your daw. I must say I really like them and the devellopment they have taken in the last lets say about a year (not much in the year before so I had the same thoughts about refund after upgrading from Odesi to the win version which has only a few rudimentary tools from the mac version at that time).

Dont know it there is a demo version but there is another thread about midi plugins, generation etc. dont know the exact title but there you should find something more about it (and some other tools).

Cant judge the reaper tools cause I dont use but I have heard that there are some nice plugs for midi generation running only as reaper plugs. There is so much stuff in this direction develloped in the last few years, really hard to find YOUR thing (at least for me). Lots inside daw, lots of plugs, not to talk about the M4L stuff which is (in my opinion but I cant afford Ableton so no real experience) still years ahead. Now reason with the midi players coming as rack (but withoug midi out for the moment...)...
