I believe he knows that. It's more to do with the difference of the Dynamic EQ outside of it being an EQ, as in the reduction style. Regardless to dynamic EQ's and multiband compressors having different crossovers and abilities to select the bands, the lack of reduction range, is a major difference to why I'd pick the Dy EQ over the Multicomp (edit: over Cubases MultiComp, lol).
