Looks like jancivil's last post was August 12, 2019 and she doesn't appear to have been banned. I know she's had health issues and the address linked from her Facebook page leads to an Oakland, CA re-housing shelter for people who have been homeless.

We weren't friendly but I always have appreciated her no-BS approach, and her willingness to field endless noob questions in the Music Theory forum.

I was thinking about her the other day but figured that she was just taking a break.

Indeed, I appreciate her contributions here and like her character.

I hope she is okay.

Funny, I also thought of her today when I saw a dumb post in the theory forum and noticed she didn’t respond to it...

Glad to know she’s just taking a break though.
