Released today - this is a pretty cool instrument for HALion/HALion Sonic, I can't stop jamming with it so I just made this quick and dirty improv video:

repackaged?

I don't think so, afaik it's brand new.

Steep price. Would def not buy it for those 129 bucks they ask, no matter how great it is. I'm a Steinberg fan and customer, but that price is not attractive to me. Not to mention that the great Waves Bass Fingers is on sale currently for 100 bucks less (29 $/€).

I thought "great" until I saw the price. As someone who has paid for the full Halion I would expect some reduction.

I hope UVI will come up with something like this someday. Top products and great introprices and sometimes extra sales for loyal customers.

Thought it was a Rickenbacker 4001. I already got one 🙂

Here is another little improv, this time with the clean Jay Bass from HALion Electric Bass - processed by Kaleidoscope.

Improvising with the “Clean J-Bass“ preset from Steinberg's Electric Bass library, some external effects were also used.

Hmmm, the Steinberg VB-1 (same or similar name!) of 2001 looked
like this one ...
