I don´t have Cubase, but in Studio One, if I insert MUX (Synth) on an instrument track, I can choose it as an input on another track... for me it´s the same like with any other VST Arp out there...GearNostalgia wrote: ↑Fri Sep 20, 2019 5:36 amMux was cool, but I could not get my head around how to use it to get midi-notes to other tracks and record the midi-data. Seems like it only work in the synths, right?ReverendLove wrote: ↑Thu Sep 19, 2019 9:42 pm Mulab's Mux has a very mighty sequencer who has a arp mode too.
Put the attached preset to your Mux Library (Your VST Path\MUX\User\Library\MUX\Instruments\)
Inside MUX load the preset and off you go...
The advantage of using MUX instead of "just" Blue Arp (which got a really bad timing for me), Cream etc... is that you get for the same price a complete modular enviroment for instrument and FX with a fantastic sound engine, which is nevertheless very easy to use...

Thank you. That is the nail in the coffin for me. Something else then.ChamomileShark wrote: ↑Sat Sep 21, 2019 5:09 pm I had KCream CM version and it worked fine in Cubase. Then I bought the full version that was on sale and I couldn't get it to work, I can't remember what the issue was but either the plugin wouldn't open or it didn't pass the MIDI. The vendor contacted the developer and apparently it was a known problem and there wasn't an ETA for a fix so the vendor made a full refund. I guess C'thulu is the closest I have to that in terms of an arpegiator. I have Nora Squareheads CM but can't really recall it.

There are also some folk that have uploaded some into the Mulib libraries that are really cool instruments. Probably the coolest thing about using MUX for me is that I can use Tal Uno lx as my synth engine inside all of of MUXs modulation and sequencing capabilities and run it as it were one instrument.

for arps, i still think squareheads nora cant be beat. the down side though is that while its still available and it functions as it should...it looks like there wont be any further work done on it. at $50 i think it might be a bit pricey for what looks like abandonware...even if it does work well...which it does, its really very good actually.

It’s Mac only, and I think it works great when it isn’t crashing Logic or Live. I will play with it for a bit, put it away, break it out again. The developer is a great guy, though. If you PM him, he’ll post an update fairly quickly.Raddler1 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 23, 2019 11:08 pm No one mentioned this? Surprising.

I don't like Cream.
With my setup I always got some strange stops while playing
I played A;G;F A;G;E;F A;G;E;F without the breaks you hear (maybe someone knows what's wrong)
https://youtu.be/g7bpPMOlugU
Because of that I wouldn't buy Cream
Cthulhu can't play Chords from keyboard. So I can't use chord arpeggios which bothers me.(I know 1 key chords are perfect with it. If I play C E G I want CEG CEG CEG not C E G C E G C E G I hope anyone will understand what I mean)
Reapers build in Arp is not good too
And most other are quite expensive
Blue ARP is Great Value ( ...freeware Am I right? )(but it can't also do what I like ...similar Problem like Cthulhu )
