Also the amount of feedback is around 99.9999999999%, which makes it awesome for very long delays without changing the type of the sound (which you will find on bbd, tape delays etc)

Ticky Clav (I used the original version extensively years ago) can give you a quite convincing Clavinet sound.

I am interested in producing Reggae and Dub. What sort of instruments and effects do you recommend and from which manufacturers?

I find any synth that can do a good sub bass works well.
Listen to Thievery Corporation, they use a combo of synths and traditional instruments.
Their production is stellar.

You can see many videos of riddim guitarists playing the upbeat themselves. No need for a delay
Yup, and i dont think that a delay is necessary for reggae-sounds - not even charakteristic.

But tape delay was already used by the wailers ... its not a shame to play with your devices ... the 'sleng teng riddim' i.e. is a product of a broken keyboard :hihi:

Realistic reggae guitar will almost certainly require a real reggae guitar player. ;) For rhythm, it's mostly just upstrummed muted major and minor triad chips on the off beat, nothing too tricky, but it's all about the feel.

As far as effects my picks are:
Spirit reverb for spring reverb
Audiothing outer space for classic space echo
Valhalla Delay for lots of classic trippy delays

For instruments there’s too many options for drums and guitars and keys but a good bass guitar bundle like IK Modo would be handy.
