Thank you Anosou! It's working smoothly now!Anosou wrote: Thu Sep 26, 2019 10:24 amThe trial issue should now be sorted! Head back to https://www.reasonstudios.com/en/reason/tryreason and grab a download again to get a trial license. You can confirm you got it by looking in My products.scatman84 wrote: Thu Sep 26, 2019 9:51 amThanks for your assurance Anosou. I am really looking forward to test drive Reason rack plugin in my DAWs. Please sort this accounts issue soon.Anosou wrote: Thu Sep 26, 2019 9:04 amDemo mode and trial are not quite the same. A 30-day trial will authorize both Reason and Reason Rack Plugin. We're looking into an issue where some accounts don't properly get a Reason 11 trial license. This happens to just some accounts but I hope to have that sorted out today.kae wrote: Thu Sep 26, 2019 5:19 amWeird. When their page clearly states «The trial comes with both the Reason Rack Plugin and Reason standalone.».EnochLight wrote: Thu Sep 26, 2019 12:58 amFrom the manual :
"Demo Mode is only available in the stand-alone version of Reason not in Reason Rack Plugin."
If that's the case they should have it on their site, not buried in the manual.
It also says «Note: the trial period begins as soon as you click any of the download buttons.». Was it supposed to start a 30 days full trial connected to my user when the download started? Can't find that in my account.
Whenever I login to my account on Reason window it shows following message -
"Authorization missing, The user account you specified is not authorized to run Reason 11.0d4......"
Reason 11 announced!!!

I can't believe how rude you're behaving with @EnochLight !reggie1979 wrote: Thu Sep 26, 2019 5:20 pmYou haven't helped, nobody has and it's frustrating. I'm interested in the 30 day demo of version 11. If there is any reason I cannot please let me know, otherwise you are TOTALLY off base (which I'm used to)
It's really quite simple. I just want to do the 30 day trial of reason 11. There is nothing that I can see on the website that activates this. What would be nice is if someone who knows the secret hand shake help with this.
EnochLight is being a gentleman and helping you despite your animosity!
Are you this rude in real life too??? I'm appalled by your stinky arrogance!
We're seeing 2 extremes here - reggie being extremely arrogant & EnochLight being extremely nice!
Mods, why this prick is not banned??? Such kind of crass behaviour shouldn't be tolerated in KVR!
Hey reggie1979, go back to your 4chan forums, no place here for a foul mouthed guy like you!

Don't get me wrong, I'm with you on this. So much so, that after fighting an uphill battle for 2 years trying to use different DAWs and plugins that sucked on Surface Pro 4's high-DPI screen I went out and bought a 1080p screen laptop, that "solves" all the issues for now. So sure I lost all the high-frequency details of 200% skins of U-He or Arturia plugins, but on the other hands Soundtoys, Waves or NI are perfectly usable and Reason doesn't look like a blurry mess.Jace-BeOS wrote: Thu Sep 26, 2019 11:33 pmI don’t want to read blown-up blurry text any more than I want to read tiny blurry text. Scaling just increases the size of the pixels, sometimes by resembling them to “smooth” them, which makes them even more blurry than whatever antialiasing (blurring for smoothing sake) is already present. I also don’t want to look at blown up non-blurry chunky-pixel text or graphics.

I believe it's really necessary to make high resolution the next step, not because I'm going to buy a 4k monitor but because "many" demand it
Well, let's be honest. Technology is moving on and we are moving with it. 4k monitors will be the norm even for gamers (already TVs with 4k are the norm now) and soon 1080p are in the minority.
I still have 1080p but when I go 4k, Reason will be uninstalled really (besides Korg synths and other old ones). Simply because there are DAWs and instruments that support 4k even if I choose 28" monitor (which is now becoming affordable).
I'm not complaining though! But just saying! If there is a plan for high resolution, then mostly I'll upgrade to 11. Not before getting my 4k monitor though

Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

I don't know what fixed my issue the new mac update or what but it is working smoothly here in studio one. I guess it is much better than working in Reason aside the Dr. Octorex still doesn't sync. Bravo P.H now fix the ugliness of these racks.
One more thing, have you guys managed to take every single kit of Kong drum on its own channel in studio one? I have done everything but I couldn't make it work.

I was like 99% sure that they finally add gpu accelerated, 60fps hi res gui in Reason 11, but yet they fail to do that. Again. Reason 11 is basically same as Reason 10 was. "Biggest update ever" = recyckling old samples and synths and make couple new features which are easy and fast to do, and let's charge 129€ for that. Milking cow stragegy. Yet Mattias is telling "I'm a good listener".
Ending up buying and solding Reason 10 couple times, I am happy that I am not their customer anymore. I have competely lost faith on this company, and I am not the only one. However, if they ever add new gui, many sequencer updates and midi chase, I may thinking to buy Reason again, because I like it very much, but hey, we don't see that day to come, so nothing to wait

For me, the only reason that I will be buying the intro version if I buy is to use my Re which I bought in the past. It is like the likes of Softube Reverb and EQ. And they are good. So, that is that. In fact, what I have noticed is that Reason Rack has made my workflow very slow. A simple as multi output a click away when I add Drum machine in studio one takes time in Reason VST. Creating a Kong sending to separate output assigning that in Kong dragging wire and trying that not to know either it works or not. Whatever man it is just slow. It has taken my studio one to stone age.

I did it by using the sidechain function of Cubase (when using the Reason 11 beta).ElgrandeCastagneto wrote: Fri Sep 27, 2019 7:41 am ok Thank you.

You set up a send from the instrument channel and enable the sidechain on the Reason Rack's channel.
Make sure everything is routed properly in Cubase and unplug the audio cables from Audio In on the Rack and move them to the Sidechain input.
Grum.

Sounds like a no brainer. I just installed the Reason 11 demo and I don't see any Reason plugins in Ableton. Is the VST rack only available if you purchase?fedexnman wrote: Thu Sep 26, 2019 10:57 pm I'm thinking about getting Reason 11 intro for $99 to use as a VST seems like alot of bang for your buck ?
