I knew you would get a kick out of it..

I'm looking forward to re-installing it on the new HD & messing with it again..& bouncing every bar or so..:hihi:

Deliciously chaotic..it generates such disturbing textures it's somehow appropriate that it overloads cpu's..

to "suck rocks" (def): to take a nasty mouthful of hairy bollock. Never used in a complimentary fashion. Commonly used in California by mall rats, eg. "That movie sucked rocks, I want my money back". See also BITES, BLOWS, SHITE.

Gotta love param names like 'killDisaster' and 'CoreEngage'.

This synth has made me break my holy vow of 'no synthetic sound'.

This is actually one of the best I've seen. Forces you to focus more - feels more like an organic instrument than a typical softsynth. The included signal path illustration is clear enough, once you get over the initial shock.

Glad you like it, for me, it's a close to insurmountable obstacle. Different strokes for different folks! :)

Just discovered Sophia and am digging it. CPU hit is around 40% on an AMD 1.4Ghz (but I can always freeze the track in Tracktion 8) ). Speaking of Tracktion, I can't access the presets. I was mashing and tweaking and sliding with my controller though to see what would respond and I noticed that I could change the presets by mashing a couple of the buttons on my PCR30? Is anyone else using this with Tracktion and able to access the preset through the plugin GUI?

Does anyone have a direct link for this? I can't load the Audiobulb page in my browser - it says I need to install plugins and I don't want to have to install flash or whatever just to download a VSTi.

Thanks - I see I'm not the only one.

Don't forget there's also a precursor to Sophia called AB synth as well as a couple of Reaktor ensembles as well.

Post

AB VST has been updated as well - different gui, a few extra params for the tweakers.
