I registered my MPS 2.1 this morning. I got a free upgrade to MPS 3, because it fell into the grace period. So, there is such a grace period, but I don't know how long it is. Might be worth asking their support?

Lol, yeah I wonder if the janky loyalty offers page ever results in someone getting to to redeem an offer on their izotope account they don’t actually qualify for. Seems like it usually works the other way around for me. Not giving me offers I should qualify for and forcing me to look at third party retailers. I have mbp2 (the old bundle, not suite) and bought/upgraded lots of stuff. Ozone 8 advanced and Neutron 2 advanced, nectar 3, rx elements, vocal synth 2, all of the creative plugs except mobius filter, etc etc.arrakeen wrote: Thu Oct 03, 2019 8:09 pm I find the upgrade offers, when logged in infuriating. It's all so confusing, offering discounts on products you already own, bundles with almost every product you already own etc.
It's terrible, but I think it's on purpose. :/
My account offer is 399 to upgrade to suite 3. Pluginboutique has $399 being the offer to upgrade from ANY paid izotope product. Seems like the best offer I actually do qualify for is $299, just $100 cheaper, it appears, than someone who owns one elements version of an izotope product.
When I realized they were including a couple of the reverbs in the bundle I considered it, but (sorry I know this is a very tired conversation) the upgrade paths just feel so insulting. Idk. UAD has 50% off all first party plugins right now. I’m gonna take a good hard look at that first

I'm ignoring the iZotope upgrade debacle for the moment, melts my mind ;D... but enjoy browsing those UAD plugs. I have almost everything I need from them, but I do think 50% off should be the base. Quality though.Razzia wrote: Thu Oct 03, 2019 8:44 pmWhen I realized they were including a couple of the reverbs in the bundle I considered it, but (sorry I know this is a very tired conversation) the upgrade paths just feel so insulting. The offers page has been broken for years. Honestly they should slow down on the updates and work on their website's backend code. I once was offered an upgrade price I should not have qualified for. And this was back when I only had free Izotope products. What I gather from reading the forums is that Izotope will still honour the purchase if bought from their offers page. So it's not a bad idea to jump on such an opportunity should it arise.Razzia wrote: Thu Oct 03, 2019 8:44 pmLol, yeah I wonder if the janky loyalty offers page ever results in someone getting to to redeem an offer on their izotope account they don’t actually qualify for. - Novel: rebalance module (like the one in rx7)yehboy1 wrote: Fri Oct 04, 2019 3:42 am What are us Ozone 8 Adv owners getting from upgrading to Ozone 9 Adv? Like what does the $150 upgrade actually get me?
- new eq match + operating as separate plugin
- novel: bass module
- enhanced tonal balance control (operates instances of eq from within TBC to match the reference)
- easier on cpu
- resizable gui
- intelligent assist now incorporates vintage modules if user wishes
- new algo for imager/stereoizer
also you can get the upgrade for $125 from resellers
often I find izotope upgrades not worth the $ (for example I did not upgrade
my neutron 2 advanced), however this one is a total no brainer imo.

Okay, just purchased at JRR Shop.
Not sure about various features, but CPU usage is key factor to me. I was saving for Ryzen 3900x just to get mixes render faster - but now I can achieve same goal thanks to lower CPU usage on all tracks, buses and master. This should save me some minutes here and there, every time I render a mix or bounce some audio.

I ignore those warnings out of principle. What if you lived in the USA and then moved to the EU? All your previous purchases become invalid because you should have bought them from a store based in the EU?arrakeen wrote: Thu Oct 03, 2019 8:46 pm F*** Brexit, I love being a Euro. But they did have to comply at some point. There was a don't buy here 'warning' from outside of US in the past and I adhered to it, mostly.
Besides, I somehow doubt that a store in a different EU country is going to take the 25% VAT I just paid and somehow give it to the Swedish government. It's just free money as far as they are concerned.
Take a single oscillator, producing a drone. Send it to the wave shaper, altering the tone.
This can be a triangle, Sawtooth or a square. Modulate the pulse width, nobody will care
