Okay, got my upgrade from JRR Shop already in the morning, 18 minutes after purchase. Everything works fine, paid 126.5 USD.

Already managed to set it up correctly in high-DPI mode in Ableton.
Along Massive X, which I complained about in another topic - I was wrong.

Too bad presets are saved in different location so it's not easy to transfer settings from Ozone 8 to 9.

Ooh guess I did. They sorted me with those extra serials for the reverbs too.

Yeh, good deal if you wanted the reverbs (I didn't so even at 99 I passed, there is nothing I need in 9, haven't even scratches the surface of 8 yet!). Putting the money towards Adaptiverb if it ever goes on sale!

I ignore those warnings out of principle. What if you lived in the USA and then moved to the EU? All your previous purchases become invalid because you should have bought them from a store based in the EU?

Besides, I somehow doubt that a store in a different EU country is going to take the 25% VAT I just paid and somehow give it to the Swedish government. It's just free money as far as they are concerned.

The two Expontential Audio Reverbs (R4 and Nimbus), which are included in MPS 3, seem to be top notch! Cool bargain so far...

How low are the upgrade prices likely to go? (Especially MPS 3 from MPS 2.1.) I've only been in the game a few months, so I have little experience, but I did get the Elements Suite for $19 in a Reverb sale that lasted for roughly five minutes.

People rave about them. I actually considered the bundle because of that but it’s priced just outside of what makes sense for me. $400 because I don’t own a version of their suite, although I have almost all of the products in MPS. For $300 I might have jumped

Oh well, I have some UAD reverbs that are absolutely stellar, and natively all the Valhalla ones. Prob better off not spending all that money on stuff that doesn’t add a ton of value to my process.

Enjoyed Ozone 9 Advanced all the time since I came brack from work till today's dinner. Very fast and streamlined workflow in the mix, thanks to inter-plugin communication and clearer GUI overall. It's just a pleasure to work with.

Also, I realized my 1-year old track can't be saved even with the cleanest mix, since it's simply boring. Well.

It’s not. I’m seeing a noticeable improvement in CPU on my old system, and the high dpi/4K resizable GUI was long overdue. That’s not even taking into consideration the new modules and metering improvements.

I think people have forgotten that for years, you couldn’t buy Ozone Advanced for less than $600 USD. I realize this opinion won’t be popular, but I’d say it’s fairly priced according to the market now - at least through third party retailers. Obviously YMMV depending on where you are on the planet.

600 bucks on mastering software software is nothing to a mastering engineer. They can make that back with a single job.

1. If they already got that job. Not everyone in the world does.
2. When was the last time you paid 600 bucks to mastering engineer?
