On a serious note Im confused as hell. So Ive got Ozone8A with MPS2. What is the right upgrade path and what will I benefit. I really cant fathom it out (I know Im probably being dim), but I cant suss it out.

The options in my account are numerous and the relevant ones seem to be:

$150 Ozone 9 Advanced Upgrade
$150 Music Production Suite 3: Upgrade from select bundles or Ozone 9 Advanced
$175 Tonal Balance Bundle

What I seem to have in my account:

Vocal Doubler
VocalSynth 2
Neutron 2 Advanced
iZotope Ozone 8 Advanced
Ozone Imager (2 licenses for some reason)

Im really not clear on what I am going to benefit too. Any help please?

is there some place where the MPS3 upgrade is still cheap? sadly i missed the $99 offer/price error :/

1. Software is priced according to target audience. If you expect to only sell to pros you can charge a premium. Cubase for example costs 500 bucks, but that sells to film composers like Hans Zimmer and Junkie XL.
2. How much do you think Taylor Swift or Ariana Grande pay for an album master? If you mastering for Grammy winning artists its not a problem.

And maybe 20 others. That's pretty small market for a business, don't you think?

Whereas KVR is full of plugin collectors who buy dozens of plugins and never finish a track though.

Here are some numbers about how many tracks are created yearly, and they all need to be mastered!

Spot on! Instead of finish a track they gas for the latest stuff and maybe....Nah!

Some pro mixers that master themself swear Ozone 5 was best and haven't upgraded. Why upgrade when something is working good enough? The upgrade jungle is for the GAS-ppl and not the pro's. They're too busy making great mixes and masters.

BTW, stopping by to give kudos to Izotope. I bought the v2 music bundle less than 2 months ago. I reached out to ask if I'm within the grace period and they upgraded me to the new v3 bundle, so now I get to play with the reverbs as well.

Add them to my collection of great reverbs that will not be featured in any finished productions.

Not even mix engineers make 600 a track these days. You're one 0 too many
