Redoing sound booth - Anything you wish you would've known?

Took over audio permanently for a small venue and just now realizing how soundbooth is a total mess! There's a whole lot that comes down to cable management but also some technical fixes like separate racks for receivers and transmitters so that frequency interferance is no longer an issue. I want to do it right the FIRST time so that nothing comes to bite me in the butt later.
Just curious if anyone has anything they wish they would've done when it comes to setup, whether technical or more convenience wise that you've found makes work flow smooth and not awkward.
