Since the last thread was closed by the threadstarter ( I can't blame him ) I thought tranzistow really needs it's own thread .
The developer (hrastwerk) answers questions on gearslutz , so that's the place to be when you want to communicate with the man himself . .
This thread is for those who value the power and sound quality of this mighty synth , and are not offended by it's gui ( I like it a lot ) .
A place to share questions , tips and tricks for things that are not so obvious /difficult to grasp
So no moaning about the gui , if you want bevelled knobs an faux wood , look elsewhere
All hail Tranzistow /Hrastdeveloper

I´m really curious to learn more about this synth. Sound quality is not everything today, this isn´t a strong criterion anymore. When I´m looking for a synth, I always expect superior sound quality, otherwise I won´t buy it.
What I am really interested in is creative and innovative workflow.
Can ALL parameters of this synth be automated?
With so many parameters and sliders, is there any controlled randomization implemented? Ability to lock / unlock individual parameters?
Does it have a dedicated arp or sequencer, and what is more important with midi-out function?
How deep is the modulation? Many synths are limited in this regard.

Just 22 days ago. I’m sure his participation is geared to where people are posting, rather than any preference for GS.

You can try using WINE.

It reports a ton of parameters to the host, but host automation is not widely tested (because the dev himself doesn't use it, he's using a combination of touchscreens and BCR2000s to control it) and in some cases it might not behave as expected. Best check it out yourself.
Alt+click the Init button on Patch/FX page puts you in randomize mode. Read more in the Tranzistow PDF that is on Hrast's website.enCiphered wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2019 5:37 pmWith so many parameters and sliders, is there any controlled randomization implemented?
